For floatation, fees per session are typically in the same range as a standard massage. The financial variables that control the revenues of the service are straight forward and include:

  • Number of floatation rooms in operation (in our example, four rooms);
  • The fee for the floatation session (in our example, $75 for 1 hour as compared to $100 for a massage);
  • The utilization of the rooms (in our example, 50 percent utilization); and
